WikiProject Articles for Creation conducts periodic Backlog Elimination Drives. All editors involved in reviewing AfC submissions are encouraged to participate. We also invite established editors, who have not previously carried out AfC reviews to participate; however, please make sure you have read through Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Reviewing instructions thoroughly and ensure that you are familiar with Wikipedia's established content policies and guidelines. If you have any questions about the reviewing process, please ask at the project's talk page.

How to take part[edit]

Before joining this drive and starting to review articles, please make sure you have read Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Reviewing instructions and have no questions. To join a drive, please add your username to the "Participants" section on the relevant drive page, after you have reviewed at least one article. All reviews must be started after the official start time and be completed before the official end time. Reviews started outside of these parameters do not count.

To find an article submission to review, go to Category:Pending AfC submissions.

AfC Buddy scoring script[edit]

In order to assist with drives Excirial (talk · contribs) wrote a program - AFCBuddy - that can generate both the mandatory list of diffs for a user, along with the code and awards for the scoreboard. AFCBuddy will generate the scoreboard for every user, but will only generate the diff list for users who give it permission to do so. If you wish for AFCBuddy to generate yours, please indicate this in your signup at the AFC Backlog drive's participants list.
