Getting help[edit]

If you're here to look for a specific person to ask for help, please make a request to only one person from the list below by posting on their talk page. If you get no response in a day or two, you can try another person. Please remember that some editors may be inactive (temporarily or indefinitely) or may be otherwise indisposed and unable to respond. If you would rather make a general request from anyone who is available, please post it here instead.

Editors willing to assist

If you are a user who is prepared to be contacted directly, you can list your name here along with a short description of what help you can provide. If you prefer to help with the requests that are posted directly here, adding your name to the list is not required. Please read the advice for assistants. If you are no longer active here, please remove yourself from the list.

Editors willing to provide assistance[edit]

  1. I'd be glad to help sort out anything from minor disputes to full blown arguments. I am also willing to help give you a better idea of policies and help out in most situations. I can even help get an article to GA. I'll help with whatever you need. Please contact me at my talk page by clicking that link. Mr R00t Talk 'tribs
  2. Willing to help with those that might be confused on policies and practices, are having issues with expressing their opinions clearly, or may need dispute resolution but need some help on how to go about it. Contact on my talk page is preferred, wiki e-mail is also an option. Currently accepting new requests. Seraphimblade Talk to me 12:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  3. If you have questions on how to respond to a deletion notification or how to go about finding sources for an article, or evaluating sources other people have found, I'd be glad to help.DGG 22:53, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  4. I'm specialized in article writing. EA seems to be good place for me to help out. Deryck C. 12:52, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Can help with technical details (formatting, tricky template stuff), and policy details (mostly image details, fair-use issues, licence tagging - I'm not a (US) lawyer, but I think I have some clue about this). I also have wide experience on deletions; If you feel the article should be kept because the subject is widely known, I can suggest what should be added to satisfy notability - I can't promise the article will be kept and I won't argue on its behalf either just because you ask, but I can explain what it should have to avoid deletion. Feel free to leave a message to my talk page or (not as much recommended) via email. --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 08:33, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Sure, I'll sign up.--Wizardman 17:33, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  7. I'm happy to help out on edit disputes. When editors clash there is usually a resolution that benefits and strengthens the article. Take away the bad emotion and replace with good faith and an edit dispute becomes a constructive peer review. SilkTork 20:32, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
