Template:This is a redirect/rcat
- This is a redirect from a shortcut in any namespace to a page in any namespace except template namespace. For more information follow the bold category link.
- If target page is a template, then use {{R from template shortcut}} instead. Shortcuts are wikilinked on community pages, talk pages and edit summaries, but not in mainspace articles.
- Note: Template talk pages are in a talk namespace; they are not in the template namespace. All shortcuts to talk pages should be tagged with {{R from shortcut}}.

Usage[edit]
- This redirect category (Rcat) template populates both the Redirects from shortcuts and Unprintworthy redirects categories. Add this Rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT [[(Target page name)]] {{R from shortcut}}
- This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
- Template {{This is a redirect}} may also be used to add this and other appropriate Rcats to a redirect.
- Use this Rcat on any redirect from a Wikipedia (WP:, MOS:, etc.) shortcut. These shortcuts are generally reserved for Wikipedia project pages, their discussion pages and categories.
- Both {{Redirect from shortcut}} and {{R from Shortcut}} redirect here and may also be used.
