This is a template to generate links to the Project Gutenberg. This template should be used exclusively for BOOKS.
To link to AUTHOR listings in Project Gutenberg, use template:Gutenberg author.
Process
[edit]- Go to the Project Gutenberg web site.
- Look up the page that has the book you want to link via the template.
- Get the EText-No. and the Book name.
- Edit the Wikipedia page and add in the Gutenberg template, setting the 'no' variable equal to the EText-No. and the 'name' equal to the book name.

Parameters
[edit]Do not use all these parameters for any one book. The list is long to cover a wide range of books. Only use those parameters that convey essential or notable information about the subject. Any parameters left blank or omitted will not be displayed. If a data field has more than one parameter name which can be used, the preferred name is listed first in bold print.
