Template:Db-notice-multiple-NPF
Hello Db-notice-multiple-NPF,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged [[:{{{1}}}]] for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for the following reasons:
- The page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. (See section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
- It appears to be a test page. (See section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do, and take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
- It is unambiguous vandalism or an obvious hoax. (See section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia; doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It is an "attack page", and appears to be primarily intended to disparage or threaten its subject. This includes biographies of living people that are unsourced and entirely negative in tone. (See section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks; attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It appears to have the same content as an article that exists on another Wikimedia project. This may be because it was copied and pasted from that article, or because it was transwikied from the English Wikipedia to another project. (See section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) To learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English, please see Wikipedia:Translation.
- It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It consists of a dictionary definition or other article that has been transwikied to another project and the author information recorded. (See section A5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
- It appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted, or is eligible for deletion itself. (See section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
- It covers a topic on which we already have an article. (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at the existing article, or to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
- The image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated. (See section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image. (See section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. (See section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then you should do two things. First, please state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions. Second, please add the relevant copyright tag.
- It is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. (See section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the file is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
- The image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. (See section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
- It is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use. (See section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- The category has been empty for four days or more and it is not presently under discussion at Categories for discussion, or at disambiguation categories. (See section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It contains a gallery in the userspace which consists chiefly of fair use or non-free images. (See section U3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot allow non-free and copyrighted images to be used on user pages, and user pages containing galleries of such images may be eligible for speedy deletion.
- It is a redirect to an article talk page, image description page, image talk page, mediawiki page, mediawiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, or user talk page from the article space. (See section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer. (See section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It is an unambiguous misrepresentation of established policy. (See section T2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It is a portal which would be subject to speedy deletion if it were an article. (See section P1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It is a portal based on a topic for which there is no non-stub header article, and there are not at least three non-stub articles detailing subject matter that would be appropriate to discuss under the title of that portal. (See section P2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

This template is used to notify users that a page has been tagged for speedy deletion under more than one of the speedy deletion criteria. It is delivered via the curation toolbar of the New Pages Feed. The criteria supported by the template can be seen in the table on the right. Only codes with "Yes" in the Sppt column are supported.
Usage[edit]
This template is substituted on the user talk page of the user who created the page being tagged for deletion. In the first unnamed parameter, put the name of the page being tagged for deletion, and in subsequent unnamed parameters, put the names of the speedy deletion criteria that it is being tagged under.
Example:
{{subst:db-notice-multiple-NPF|Page title|G11|G12|etc.}}
Parameters[edit]
- Required parameters
- The first unnamed parameter is required. This is the title of the page being tagged for deletion.
- Optional parameters
- All of the speedy deletion criteria are optional. If no criteria are specified, the template outputs a generic notice. The template accepts up to ten speedy deletion criteria (unnamed parameters 2-11).
- article:- If one of the parameters listed is A10 then the name of the duplicated article can be added using
|article=article name
. (See section A10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) - url:- If one of the speedy deletion criteria is G12 or F9, the source URL of the copyright violation can be added using
|url=url of copyright violation
. - source:- If one of the speedy deletion criteria is A2, the name of the source article can be added using
|source=xx:article name
. "xx" is the language code or interwiki code of the project on which the article exists, and "article name" is the name as it exists on that project. Please do not enclose the name with square brackets [[ ]] - if you use square brackets, the template will not display properly.
