File "$1" uploaded successfully! Please follow this link: $2 to the description page and fill in information about the file, such as where it came from, when it was created and by whom, and anything else you may know about it.

Also, choose an image copyright tag and add it to the description page if you did not do so in the upload summary. If this is not done, and the copyright status of the file cannot otherwise be determined, it will be eventually be deleted.

To make your uploaded file appear in an article, you need to insert it: edit the article and add the syntax [[Image:$1|thumb|Caption]] where you want the file to appear. See Wikipedia:Images or Wikipedia:Extended image syntax for further instructions.

If you have overwritten an image with a newer version, you will probably have to bypass your cache to see the newer version on the description page.
