Conductor - Mark Edwards

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Mark is in the final year of his Masters at Newcastle University under the guidance of Professor Eric Cross. Mark has worked with many musicians including: Graeme Danby (English National Opera), Neil Thompson, Simon Fidler, Denis McCaldin, Philip MacKenzie (Amadeus Orchestra) and Edwin Roxburgh. Mark also conducts many ensembles in the region including: Newcastle Sinfonietta, Newcastle University Symphony Orchestra, Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Sunderland University Choir and Tyneside Chamber Orchestra. Mark is also a freelance percussionist with local orchestras and bands including NUCMC and PianoVibes
