Summary
Workers in the printing house decided to print the censored section with just the headlines and blank space instead of text substituted by the censor. The scan is of a special "master" copy which contains the original handwritten confirmation of this decision by the "Solidarność" Trade Union.
The censor had halted the subsection "Konferencja prasowa we wrocławskim MKZ" (Press conference in union committee), leaving only the official note in the subsection "Rządowa Komisja bada przyczyny zajść" (Government commission investigates cause of the incidents). The local union (Solidarność) body did not agree to print only the one-sided official propaganda statement, and decided to blank out both the propaganda and the union text under the circumstances.
Pracownicy drukarni zdecydowali drukować gazetę z białymi plamami w miejscach tekstu skonfiskowanego przez cenzurę. Pokazany egzemplarz gazety zawiera oryginalne pisemne potwierdzenie decyzji NSZZ "Solidarność".
Cenzura skonfiskowała w tym numerze tekst w sekcji "Konferencja prasowa we wrocławskim MKZ" pozostawiając jedynie sporządzoną oficjalnie notatkę w sekcji "Rządowa Komisja bada przyczyny zajść".
Licensing
