DescriptionSony-Alpha-A700-Front.jpg |
English: The front of a Sony Alpha A700 DSLR. The Sony α700 is a digital single-lens reflex camera. Introduced in 2007, it featured 12.4 effective megapixels and a maximum resolution of 4288 × 2856 pixels. Due to Sony's buyout of Konica Minolta's camera technology in 2006 it is compatible with the Minolta A-type mount lenses and accessories. The α700 is a successor to the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D, Konica Minolta's highest end model of DSLR, and is considered a "prosumer" model. It was succeeded in 2011 by the Sony α77. |
