Summary
DescriptionRano-Raraku-from-South.jpg
English: Rano Raraku seen from the south. Almost all the statues on Easter Island (95 %) were carved out of this crater wall, and then somehow transported many kilometres to various locations all over the island. No one knows exactly how they did it.
Most of the dots in the hillside there are moai that for some reason either weren't completed or just not moved from here.
