Description
English: The OSIRIS-REx Thermal Emission Spectrometer (OTES) is the first space instrument built entirely on ASU’s Tempe campus, on Monday, June 22, 2015. It will be shipped to Denver later this week, to be mated to the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, then it will be used in a September 2016 on a mission to the primitive asteroid Bennu, to map the asteroid's thermal and spectral mineralogy.
